Owner’s guide: your first listing

Five rules that double your calls without cutting your price.

Updated 30 July 2026

First: your listing will not publish without a phone number. Ekriha runs on the call, and a listing with no number is meaningless. The number is requested after you create the account, not before. Post the real price. “Price negotiable” or an artificially low bait price generates calls that never become rentals, and costs you more time than it brings. Put yourself on the map. Listings visible on the map get more calls, because every renter’s first question is “where?”. For a home we show an approximate circle, not an exact point, so your address stays protected. State your conditions plainly: minimum duration, whether the car may leave the wilaya, whether the home is families-only. Clear conditions cut useless calls and improve the ones you get. Every listing is reviewed by a person before publishing, and editing a live listing sends it back for review. That is not a pointless delay: it is what keeps the platform clean and stops your listing sitting next to fake ones. Finally, answer the phone. The biggest cause of lost rentals in Algeria is neither price nor photos — it is a number that does not answer. If you cannot answer at certain hours, say so in the listing.
